| K.M. Thayyib Sahini started writing poems at the age of twelve and wrote many poems. These poems are out flow of his emotions and thoughts and are related to the human life which is the inseparable part of nature. Sahini completed MA from Pondicherry University and MBA from IGNOU, New Delhi. Presently lives in Spain, doing International Masters in Peace and Development Studies of the UNESCO Chair for Philosophy for Peace Program at the Universitat Jaume I, Castellon. A percussionist and Tabla player, he is the disciple of Pandit Manohar N Keskar of the Tansen School of Music, Trivandrum, and performed in many music concerts. Also Sahini is associated with the Music for Health Care Foundation chaired by the renowned Musicologist and Sitarist Dr.P.Janardhanan. A few more words to you... Contacts. |
An ode to Inn... Not the light of moon, this is not the light from eyes, This is the light of fire, and the beauty of the burning wood. In this Tippie besides the lantern, I am with my soul and dreams, Alone in the depth of night, and away from the madding crowd. Near to me the flow of Inn, makes the song of loving God, This is the place of eternity, and the vale of soul’s refuge.
